Okay so it's not Prada, it's not green and it's definitely not leather.....but how AMAZING is this skirt I bought in H&M Stockholm?!
I have just got back from Stockholm Mercedes Benz Fashion week - a first for me - and it was everything I imagined it to be. Cool, beautiful and very, very cold (minus 13 degrees, to be precise!).
I travelled to see Odd Molly A/W 2012 fashion show, who were celebrating their 10 year anniversary on the final night of Fashion week, held in the famous Berns Hotel. The show was packed and full of gorgeous paisleys, juicy cerise knitwear with soft silk slips and a Swedish supermodel, Caroline Winberg (a personal fave,) who opened and closed the show. The brand, set up by Per Holknekt and Karin Jimfelt-Ghatan, celebrated the end of their show with streamers and balloons, followed by dinner and after-party at the Royal Opera House. What a way to enjoy my first time in Stockholm.

Stockholm is becoming a regular on the fashion circuit, with cult brands such as Dagmar, J Lindeberg and Filippa K showing, and set in such a cool, vibrant city (one in which uber hip brand Acne began), it's no wonder.
I am now a huge fan of Scandinavia. Next on the wishlist: Copenhagen Fashion Week!

That Gap sweatshirt is on my wishlist too. Am currently obsessed with all things Scandinavian - looking to book a trip to Copenhagen this year. Love your blog.
ReplyDeleteThank you! The sweatshirt is fab, so glad I bought. Copenhagen is supposed to be amazing, I love all Scandi furniture too.
ReplyDeleteYour time in Stockholm looks amazing! loving that Gap sweatshirt too.
ReplyDeleteI love Stockholm as a city and agree the Swedes are so stylish- fashion and home wise (and they have great, healthy food- though not the cakes, those are really not healthy). I really want to go to Copenhagen too... it's on the mini break wish list
