City Spy Maps
For a European city-break, if you can get your hands on one
of these, your holiday is complete. Originally made for Backpackers (I stumbled across them whilst Hostelling in Europe as a student), these cute, cartoon illustrations make it easy to
find your location. And they have humorous translations on the back such as the
Spanish equivalent of ‘I want to be your dog’ or ‘I have bed bugs’ in Polish. Now, with the wonders of the internet, you can download your specific destination.
