Frugal, me?

You didn't think my blog was all just cheap stuff, did you?! It's also about investments and knowing good value when you come across it. My new favourite item:

Neon 'Twister' bracelet, £150, Carolina Bucci (available at Harrods), spiked elasticated bracelet, Freedom at Topshop

Now I know a bargain when I see one...you will rarely see anything from Carolina Bucci for under £500, so this is a real accessibility point into the brand. They are cool, recogniseable, fun to wear and perfect for sunny days, or just brightening up the cloudy ones.
This would be a great gift for a friend's big birthday if a group of you clubbed together (I am having the 'present' dilemma with a lot of my friends' 30th birthdays coming up).

iPad 3, Amazon
This was a huge indulgence for me but I blame Twitter! I've wanted/sort of needed one for a while and it worked out at around £100 cheaper in the US. It just made sense. Yes, I'll have to use an adapter to charge it, but I have a spare one from when I bought my camera out there too a couple of years ago. Financially, I have never looked back.

  1. Love the Bucci! We have sold a few of her pieces in the past - you should sign up to our style alerts (the link is on the page below) in case we get more in. http://www.stylesequel.com/designers/carolina-bucci

  2. I can't get that Bucci bracelet out of my mind. It looks so pretty on your wrist. I might have to go look for it in Harrods just so I can fondle it when I go to London this summer. (Love your blog too, btw. It's not many in the blogosphere who take a public stand on the misuse of credit cards and actually live by their words. More people need to show that style has nothing to do with spending loads of money all the time or constantly having to obtain that next it-item. So kudos!)

    1. Thank you! It means so much when people like my blog. I think it does a lot for the self esteem too when you can actually afford things you see. Do check the Buccis out, every one is a different colour too (they're almost tie-dye effect) so you NEED to try them on ;)
