I have started a wall collage in my hall. Mixing frames, media and colours on the wall. It is constantly a work in progress, but that makes it more fun. I have picked up some frames for £1 from second-hand stores and found music posters at flea markets which I then had framed professionally. I am goign to fill in the gaps with polaroid photos and some Japanese Art. I was originally inspired by Erin Wasson's house (see below), I love how mismatched it is, yet quite symmetrical without being too neat. So on our recent trip to L.A, we stopped by the famous Amoeba Records on Sunset Boulevard and bought a Velvet Underground record for $15. My partner is converting the record onto MP3 and I framed the sleeve with a frame I bought at Target (more about this amazing store soon) for $10. Framed Art for $25, and an individual collage wall, see the results below.
If you haven't seen Erin Wasson's house on Theselby.com yet, why not? See it here
