Wedding Season

Wedding season is upon us...and with the sales starting early this year it's a great time to get a good deal on your outfit.
I never let wedding outfits panic me, I know I'll have something at the back of my wardrobe I can jazz up with a new bag or shoe...accessories, I think, are the key.
This bag was £20 from Zara and makes any dress look wedding-ready:

Chiffon maxi dresses are a great investments for weddings  - they make it easier to wear flats and hide pasty legs! H&M has some perfect ones right now, this one is from the their Conscious Collection:

Ring, Phoebe Coleman, bracelets, Dima & Carolina Bucci
Dress, £59.99, H&M
£95, Cabinet at Kabiri
£20, River Island

This outfit is all Designer but all from the sales - the dress is Lanvin (£190) and the jacket Matthew Williamson (£200) but they have both proved their worth over the years.

£140 in the sale, Acne at Net A Porter

£59.99, Zara

£28, Next

  1. That Zara clutch looks very glamourous. And you look really chic in the Lanvin dress and Matthew Williamson jacket. I love the jacket especially; it looks so wearable; I bet it looks really cool with a t-shirt! x

  2. I think you are probably right, the trick is to not stress, you can completely change the look of something through accessories if you cant afford to buy new. Plus i think an outfit looks all the more personal and better if you have styled it up yourself rather than buying the dress, matching shrug (bleeeuuurgh), shoes and bag in exact shades. I work for Monsoon and you would not belieeeeeve the stress people go through because something doesnt match exactly!!!

    1. As you know, I hate a matching bag and shoes!! Most people would think yellow and gold shouldn't go...but I think, why not?!

  4. Both outfits are lovely - I can't choose between the two. But love the sequins for both. Might have to dig out some sequins for myself now. Thanks for the inspiration and I don't like matchy matchy either.
