A few months back, I was lucky enough to meet Livia Firth, pioneer of all things eco, wife to the talented Colin, friend of Red Magazine and persuader of A-List to take part in her 'Green-carpet challenge'. It was at the unveiling of her specially designed capsule collection of Eco clothing and accessories for major online retailer Yoox.com (you can see her specially curated section on Yoox here, and her 4 specific designs launch for Fall) and I mentioned that I had great admiration for what she was doing through her website Eco-age.com. As a celebrity, I think it is a really tough challenge, especially with all the pressure on the Red carpet, to make Eco labels be seen as 'cool'.
Working in Fashion, whenever we call in 'Eco' clothes into the office, we get A LOT of terrible designs(and I mean A LOT) and I think to take on this area, which does have a lot of stigma, is really brave.
So when Eco-age contacted me to take part in their 'Fru Gal Challenge' (wearing Eco or second-hand clothes for a week), I accepted and took an opportunity to familiarise myself with Eco brands I may have previously stayed away from, and put it upon myself to show people ECO IS COOL.

These shoes are so comfortable!
