Christmas is here!

Although not our first Christmas with a front door, it's definitely our first christmas with a knocker from which we could hang a wreath! I was so excited to hang this up, it's a hand-me-down from my sister and I think the silver looks lovely with the grey front door. And the fact it isn't 'live' means it will last for many years to come!

Best door wreaths:

£22.99, Gisela Graham at Mollie & Fred
£35, John Lewis
I love this tinsel wreath as it reminds me of Anya Hindmarch's 'Tinsel Carker' -the ultimate bag to get you in the festive spirit!

Tinsel Carker bag, Anya Hindmarch

Mini bell wreath, £7.50, Not On The High Street
OR make your own!

Mary Norden made this wreath by spray-painting silver cutlery for a Red Magazine shoot!
Martha Stewart comes to the rescue once more, with plenty of DIY wreath inspiration, make this paper doily one here

  1. I have serious not only wreath but also front door envy. We live in a lovely attic flat which is very pretty inside but i would love a beautiful front door!!! This isn't sounding weird at all lol. Looks lovely!!!xxxxx

    1. Not at all! I too, am still very excited!

  2. Lovely! My wreath is also a fake that I can use year-on-year, though I'm tempted to spray paint it as yours looks so nice! Also, it has a weird smell (like bad breath!) so the spray paint would improve its aroma too!

    1. If I didn't get mine straight from my sister I would be tempted to spray paint one, too!
