This Month I'm...

...Going zinc crazy. Just a few purchases from Cox & Cox! I have convinced myself that I am allowed to buy furniture to use for my wedding ONLY if I can use it in the house as well. So I treated myself to these:
Zinc tray table, £90, Cox & Cox
We will use this to put drinks on at our wedding reception

Wire mailbox, £16.50, Cox & Cox (we will use this for people to put cards in)

And who could resist this, found in TK Maxx whilst on our trip to Birmingham?

Wire rack to store all our cookbooks, £15.99, TK Maxx
For once I resisted Cox & Cox, as this wire rack is £65!

...Seeing Florence & The Machine Live at the O2

...Booking the Panto! I go every year with my family and another family for the last 5 years or so (I must admit, it took a lot of convincing!) and I love it. There are no kids amongst us but we enjoy all the festive spirit, innuendo and we have a big meal afterwards. It's always the last week before Christmas so it puts me in a real christmas mood. The line-up is always great at Wimbledon Theatre, too. Last year we saw Dame Edna, the year before David Hasselhoff!
And this year? Priscilla Presley and Warwick Davies!

...Reading 'The Bell Jar'.

Visiting The Camden Lock Christmas Night Markets - festive fairy lights with vintage and craft stalls to get us in the mood. Every Thursday evening in the 6 weeks before Christmas. Mark Hix's steetfood van 'Fishdog' will be there, too. Yum.

  1. Oh, let me know if you see any of those wire racks again! I want something like that for the baby's nursery to put books in so they face out and it's easy for teh baby to pick what it wants!
