LFW Day 5

Every day this week, the Red girls have picked their favourite Coach bag to wear to the Shows.
I picked the Legacy Leather Medium Candace Carryall in a brand new colourway - hot pink. I love the way it makes the plainest outfit of a shirt and trousers stand out, plus I can shove all my show tickets, schedules, spare pair of flats, notebook and iPad in it and STILL look chic! Today was a relaxed day, I only had a few shows and still managed to fit another shoot in - styling a very exciting celebrity for the December issue - all will be revealed soon!

Shirt: Uniqlo, Trousers: Zara, Bag: Coach

See how all the Red Team style up their favourite Coach bag at Red Online.

What do the Editors wear to the shows? The Whistles leather sleeved 'Kristen' varsity jacket - we've spotted at least 4 at London Fashion Week alone (and Sienna Miller is a fan, too) - I am VERY tempted to invest in it:

LFW Day 4

Jacket: New Look, Shirt: Gap, Sequin skirt: H+M, Bag: Internacionale, Shoes: Jimmy Choo
Today was a quiet day for me at LFW as I was shooting some pages for my January shoot - here I am just popping back to the office post-shoot to get some admin done before heading out the 8pm Osman show.

My bag got a lot of attention today - can you believe it's only £9.99 from Internacionale?

Bag, £9.99, Internacionale

The highlight show for me, was J W Anderson - loved the pastel prints and neoprene suiting...

You can still get a few bits from his Topshop collaboration. How cute is this sweater?!

LFW Day 3

Coat: Topshop, Shirt: Margaret Howell, Necklace: H&M, Jeans: MiH, Bag: Jimmy Choo, Shoes: Carven

Some of you may have already seen my necklace on Instagram - I love it! Very Aurelie Biderman.....only £6.99 from H&M:

Necklace, £2.99, H+M
It has been another long day today, starting at 9am with Preen and ending for me at 6pm with Paul Smith (although my Editors have stayed out even longer for evening events!).
I decided to wear my Margaret Howell shirt today as they were showing today. I love her clothes, so wearable, chic and effortless. And, of course, I am a big fan of a classic shirt:

My favourite shows today were Topshop, Temperley and Paul Smith:

Temperley's collection was almost all dresses - and look how beautiful they are!

These are the Paul Smith items which have my name on them - especially those striped slipper shoes!

My Jimmy Choo oversized clutch has been a lifesaver (it fits my ipad and was only £50 in a sample sale) and Topshop make-up in the goody bags at the Show

Whistles also showcased their S/S collection at The Savoy - what a glorious place to relax in between the chaos of the shows...
The leather sweatshirt all the Editors at Red love...

The versatile chain strap bag - it's a completely different colour on the other side!

View from the window of The Savoy - bliss!
Dungarees are going to be BIG news next season!

You may have noticed I wear my boyfriend jeans a lot. This is because they are the most versatile and useful jeans I have ever owned - equally great with flats or heels, a simple t-shirt or a sparkly jacket - they are the most used item in my wardrobe:

LFW Day 2

Blazer: All Saints, T-shirt: 3.1 Phillip Lim at My-Wardrobe, Trousers: H+M, Sandals: Balenciaga, Clutch: Zara
Sorry this pic is a rushed - a bit like me today! I was at shows from 9am to 7pm and exhausted. This 3.1 Phillip Lim t-shirt has been the topic of many a Post and I am so glad I'm getting so much use out of it. This in-between weather means that you need to be able to layer up/remove layers at the drop of a hat so I'm sticking to a simple silhouette.

My favourite show of the day had to be Clements Ribeiro - they really know how to do wearable, beautiful clothes. I loved the beaded collars (just add to any plain outfit and voila -c'est chic!) and great news - stripes are back in fashion! Not that I ever really admitted to myself that they were out...

Did you know that Clements Ribeiro have done a fab collaboration with Evans?

Dress, £75, Swan by Clements Ribeiro at Evans

Jasper Conran's show had an amazing set - I wonder if they need a home for these neon lights afterwards?!

Love that the models were barefoot walking on the grass catwalk
I always look forward to the House of Holland show - and it was great fun as always this year. This was the invite (giving you an idea of the prints in the collection - how I wish I had an iPhone!):

LFW Day 1

It's that time of year again, London Fashion Week is upon us. A few of you have asked about outfits and how I prepare. Well, I do actually plan my outfits by trying them on and laying them on the bed the night before. As I have been particularly busy this last week at work, I actually planned 4 days at once so I don't have to even think about it! I've opted for a more casual Fashion Week, basing most of the outfits around flat shoes....

My new Fashion Week (that I loved full price), £159 from the Harrods Sale - I ALWAYS invest in a flat.

My outfit trials - let's see if I stick to the plan!

Chiffon dress: H&M, Sweater: Topshop, Boots: Office, Bag: Chanel
Yes, the bag is Chanel! It's kind of an heirloom - I basically stopped someone from throwing it out!! One designer accessory always helps to pull a High Street outfit together. I'm hoping my Carven shoes and 3.1 Phillip Lim t-shirt will come in handy this season.

Leather boots, £65, Office

Sweater, £36, Topshop

My favourite show of the day was definitely Eudon Choi - I loved his last two collections and this one was really accomplished - mixing different textures and colours. I loved the vibrant oranges that were coming through in 60s silhouettes. This season his collection is sold exclusively at Selfridges.

Sass + Bide was a hot ticket with a  star studded front row - Alison Mosshart, Poppy Delevigne (whose younger sister, Cara, was walking in the show), Jasmine Guiness and Delilah all enjoying the show - with more pops of orange and some fierce sequins.

And of course, I had a little time to browse the shops in between! I found this at Cos, which I bought in size Large to make it more of an oversized 'boyfriend' sweater:

Frugal Purchase: H Samuel diamond earrings

The gorgeous Liberty Ross, styled for Red's October issue by Nicola Rose, photographed by Coliena Rentmeester
When I was asked to get some classic diamond stud earrings for this latest shoot for Red, I immediately thought of H Samuel - they're chic, easy and they don't induce a sweat when you're carrying them through security. It was a risk...but when they went on the shoot, everyone loved them - Liberty wore them throughout the shoot and Nicola, the uber stylish Fashion and Creative Director at Red, ended up buying them for herself. Look out for her sporting them at Fashion Week!
Sometimes, a diamond is just a diamond....
