Frugal Tip

Places like Lidl do great value flowers - these gorgeous roses are only £2 a pack.

They just need a few finishing touches...I opened mine and re-merchandised them!

Wrap them up in Kraft paper and finish with Washi tape

The result is a beautiful bunch of flowers, and no one will ever know!

I've been using brown wrapping paper a lot recently for my wedding. I get mine from my local 99p store. There's something about brown paper on flowers whcih just makes them look a bit more 'considered' and special:

  1. Love this. I often get cheapy supermarket flowers nd split them up into old jam jars around the flat. Much cheaper! I also wrap most of my presents in brown paper and then jazz them up with sweet printed tape (wilkos has some lovely ones at the minute!) or even just some fabric ribbon.

  4. Love brown paper. I wrap all my gifts in it with a little ribbon too! My kids wrap presents in it and then decorate the paper themselves - always looks great I think!. Gorgeous pics - makes me want to go buy some flowers!! X

    1. Flowers are such an affordable gift, really, and make everyone smile. I love choosing the right ones to suit people's personalities, too. Yesterday I picked some gorgeous white Stocks for my sister because I knew she'd love them. When she opened the door, she laughed as she had just bought herself the exact same ones! Great minds...

    1. Me too. Any other wrapping paper, to me, just looks tacky these days. Love doing them up with leftover ribbon, too - wrapping is so therapeutic, I think!
