*New Purchase Alert*

Polyester maxi dress: £70, Oasis. Sunglasses Asos (buy similar here). Sandals: Giuseppe Zanotti
I'm not really a fan of Maxi dresses very often, but I love this high-neck floaty version - there's something more bohemian than 'to the beach' about it. I had my eye on it for a while and wore it to my birthday party last week. I love the braided neckline and the cut-out back (but don't worry, you can easily wear a bra with it). I think it'd make a perfect wedding outfit:

With the sun beginning to shine again, it's the time of year I obsessively buy sunglasses (despite probably only wearing one pair). I have my eye on these from Asos:

£12, Asos

It's also this time of year I pull out all my old sandals from last year and realise they're all a little worse for wear...I love these to update my wardrobe (they're almost identical to a pair of Anya Hindmarch ones I missed out on a couple of seasons ago):

'Carolyn' sandals, £175, LK Bennett
And this is just because...

Clutch bag with detachable chain strap, £24.99, H+M

  1. Hi there! Gorgeous maxi dress, I agree it's that bit different from what's currently about and I love the back cut out detail and the print on it too. Have a lovely weekend xxx

    1. Hi Sharon! Yes, I am really lover unflattering jersey maxi dresses that cling to everything...not chic. This is very flattering and I love that it has a bit of movement when the wind blows.

  3. I LOVE this dress on you, and it will be so versatile too! And like you, I always count on fab sunglasses and sandals to update my summer wardrobe (and can't help but buy these, even though I basically wear the same pair of favourite Chloe sunglasses and Dune sandals all the time).

  4. The dress is gorgeous, I love the back of it (especially because you can wear a bra with it, so important!). I'm going to have to keep my eye out for something similar! x
