Brand in Focus: Atterley Road

Last week, I ventured down to the Atterley Road HQ in Chelsea and was met by the utterly gorgeous Katie Starmer-Smith, the vision behind this brand which has become a top tier go-to website in just 1 year.

When I first heard about the launch last year, I was really excited as it really does offer something different. It's a capsule wardrobe but in an affordable capacity. I love how it defines itself - "Think of us as the most stylish friend you have" - helping you find that unique but ultimately fabulous piece from the High Street.

The new A/W collections start hitting from late June
Yes, it's a slightly more expensive High Street, but one where it's edited extremely well and on an excellent taste level.

Everything that I tell people to invest in - a Petit Bateau breton, jeans from MiH and a great occasion-wear dress from Whistles...you'll find it all here. Here's a little taster of what's to come for A/W:

This fabulous parka from Part Two is on my wishlist

The ultimate crew-neck sweater, from MiH Jeans

Stars and stripes are still big in the sweater-stakes
After talking to Katie we came to the conclusion I am actually quite an Atterley Road girl - I love all the Scandi brands they stock such as Ganni, DAY Birger and Filippa K and have a similar philosophy to dressing as the website. My whole outfit worn to the appointment, could easily have all been bought from the site!

Coat: Topshop, Shirt: MHL Margaret Howell, Jeans: MiH, bag: Anya Hindmarch (similar here)
According to Katie...(a guidance I strongly trust):

1. Saint James - this is the brand Kate is wearing in the top picture - it looked great and was all rolled up and slouchy as a good breton should be...£53.

2. MiH Jeans - at £60 this version is a bit pricey but worth every penny. Cost per wear it is a great investment and MiH stuff just, well...looks cool.

3. Filippa K - this Scandinavian brand has been around for years but not received the recognition it deserves, until now. A great, classic shape - and in the sale now at £55.

The A/W MiH Jeans updated breton with star print

A few other favourites (which happen to be under £100):

The perfect holiday dress, £85, Ganni

My dream sandal, £99, Hobbs

  2. Have been eyeing up those Hobbs Sandals and randomly have included them on a forthcoming blog..... Completely completely dreamy. Totally classic.

I love Atterley Road and yes, am a huge fan of Danish brands as well (oh go on then, all Scandi brands!)

Could pretty much shut my eyes and pick anything from the site and it would slot seamlessly into my wardrobe. Can't wait to see more of their A/W collections.

    Great post xxxx

    1. I think this is the clever idea behind it. It slots into our lives, not the other way round....x
