It's an age-old formula. Which works.
Dress simply. And then wow everyone with the accessories.
I recently bought these Zara shoes which have transformed my wardrobe. I have a few knee-length skirts I wasn't sure what to do with and felt I was wearing the same flats everyday (and as much as I love the trainer trend, it's a slippery slope and VERY hard to get back into shoes!). I bought these metallic beauties and voila! My style has had a much-needed rejig.
|Before I probably would've put some trainers on for ease. But this looks so much more polished. Sunglasses: Ray-Ban Wayfarers. Jumper: Uniqlo mens. Bag: Zara. Jeans: Asos|

|Ray-Ban's style just work for my petite face, and are a classic. These ones have the Brooks Brothers tie-print on the inside! V cool.|
The High Street does some great versions, too:
