A little while ago I asked, very casually, where I could buy a pineapple lamp. A very kind reader responded, and it was such a good buy I had to get it!
Lamp, £69.50, Amazon
I was a bit dubious at Amazon at first, having never bought any homewares from them before...the base is lacquered wood, not metal or anything but it is very solid and heavy and looks great. It's not cheap cheap, but if you're going for something as quirky as a pineapple lamp, you can't afford to go too cheap!

The lampshade fabric is cotton, but for £5 more you can get silk...mine is the plain one and looks nice enough. The lining of the lampshade is gold, which gives a nice glow. I am one step closer to living my Jonathan Adler house-style dream.
Others I like the look of:
£40, Linea at House of Fraser
£60, Living by Christiane Lemieux at House of Fraser
£95, Graham + Green
Lamp, £65, Betty Jackson Black at Debenhams
