This month I'm...
It has been a bit quiet in The-Frugality world lately....with Christmas I have really been trying to save and then there's the imminent birth of my niece/nephew - which I am very excited for! And then there has been the monster that is December deadlines at work, so I have been generally keeping quiet in the lead-up to christmas. But here is a small guide to what I have been up to...
Feeling festive with my silver wreath (3), donated by my sister, and with our annual Pantomine (5) at Wimbledon - this year Jo Brand, Matthew Kelly and Flawless were the stars - it was fab. We usually go just before Christmas when work is winding down and it really keeps my festive spirits up!
Buying shoes (6 and 7!) - it's a little naughty but everyone needs a Christmas treat?! The pink metalic and snakeskin ones were in the Nicholas Kirkwood sample sale and I wanted them full price, so at £150 were a good investment. And the LK Bennett ones you will remember from my Christmas day outfit - they brought Christmas cheer to all nearby! And...in the sale.
Popping into H&M Home. I love their clothes, but I may like their homewares more (1 and 2), everytime I pass the store on High Street Kensington I just have to go in. I have also bought some great bits for my sister's upcoming bundle of joy!
Rummaging through Tiger (4), possibly one of my favourite stores ever, recently opened on Tottenham Court Road. It is essentially a store version of Ikea's 'Marketplace' - all the fun but less of the huge trolleys and annoying kids.
Trying different food establishments. My new favourite place is Pizza Pilgrims on Dean Street (8), the dough is incredible and it's great value, too. They also have a cute van on the 4th floor on Harvey Nichols where they cook a pizza for you in a couple of minutes!
