Hello, 2014!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

2013 was a big year for me - I turned 30, I got married, had a promotion at work and (almost) became an auntie.

What did I do for new year's eve? Myself and my husband went to a local curry house for dinner, a few drinks at the local pub, then back to ours for some Bloody Marys and a film. Perfect.

The 1st Jan is always special to me as it is The-Frugality's anniversary, it has been 2 years since I started and I still cannot believe people actually read it! I've learnt a lot along the way and am excited for what 2014 will bring.

So for new year's resolutions:
  • Eat better and exercise (this is on my list every year)
  • Put all my paperwork/accounts into my married name
  • Do some decorating - we've been in our flat for almost 3 years now, and it needs some TLC
  • Grow my highlights out. This is quite radical, and I may not succeed, but having my hair highlighted costs me over £600 a year which might come in handy! Plus, I am genuinely curious as to the colour (and condition) of my natural hair.

2014 is already looking good, as I will definitely become an auntie in the next few days!

I wish everyone a happy and healthy 2014 x
