John Lewis [The Edit]

This month, I was thrilled to be asked to be part of John Lewis: The Edit for March, amongst other top bloggers.

We met in a studio in East London and spent an evening trying on 'Clashing Florals' from John Lewis' latest collections:

As many of you probably know, I'm not one to wear too many florals, so it was nice to step outside my comfort zone and try new things. I actually kept the fuschia pink trousers and blue sandals from Dune - thought they would be very useful for the weddings I have coming up!

The John Lewis trousers and heels I took away with me!
Estee Lauder did my make-up and Aveda did my hair
I felt a bit too 'glamorous' with my hair down and actually ended up putting it up for the shoot - it was all a bit too 'new' for me!

Sandals, £65, Dune at John Lewis
What I learnt? I'm not a natural in front of the camera. What I loved? The Warehouse floral trousers fitted beautifully and I'm positive I'll get so much wear out of the electric blue Dune sandals...

    1. I'm still a bit scared of the pink trews in public rather than on set - but sure they'll be fine!

    1. Kin DOES look fab, doesn't it? They're really pushing the fashion, which it thoroughly deserves!

  4. Great post. The John Lewis magazine ads are so strong at the moment - I love the minimal trend and every time I'm flicking through the pages of a magazine I see it and go 'ooh wonder who that's for'. Top marks!

  7. This looks like a very enjoyable way to spend an afternoon/evening, and what a fun clothes rack of clothes to work with too - I'm really considering these print trousers from JL (COLLECTION by John Lewis Hawaii Print Trousers, Multi), they'd look so cool with maybe a breton top and flat sandals. Your outfits looked fab x

    1. It was so nice to be asked...the printed trousers were really comfy, too. I had a similar pair from Zara last year, so must try and dig them out!
