This Month I'm...

...taking it a little bit slowly as have sinusitis, so feeling extremely tired and a little run down. So no outfit posts for a little while. But the blog will, nevertheless, resume as usual...

1 and 3...Attending 'Blogger' events! I've never really classed myself as a Blogger before but am throwing myself into its social circle. Last week, i went to an event at Aubaine with Myzine - a kind of online magazine you can create yourself whereby visitors can buy your outfits - see my online edit here.

2...Catching up with old 'Red' colleagues at Pizza Pilgrims in Soho - it's THE best pizza in town - you may have to queue but never more than half and hour and you can sit upstairs and drink. It's definitely worth the wait - the dough is to die for.

4...Ordering personalised stationery (as it's National Stationery Week!) - I thought it was about time I appeared professional! I order through Honeytree Bespoke - I love their designs, and it's really affordable. And at the moment, they're offering 50% off the gilt edge designs!

5...Trying to wear slides. But failing - it's just too cold! I've invested heavily in this trend, and desperate to get my wear out of them. These ones are from River Island (buy them here).

6...Investing in boots, instead. These have sold out a few times in Office, so I was glad to get my hands on them - it's all about the pointy toe at the moment, and I love the ponyskin finish. £90, Office.

7...Booking in some theatre - we haven't been to see some serious writing for a while, and this play at The shed (part of The National) is back after a sell out first run. Bringing to the stage the voices of homeless people in London.

8...Trying to tackle my 'Bitchy Resting Face' - this is a thing! This clever pot from Vichy which you can use daily as a moisturiser, tackles the sad lines on your face making your face and skin feel naturally fuller. I've been using for a month now and noticing the difference.

  1. I am getting more tempted, by the 'slides' and these look fantastic. I prefer a lot of the cheaper versions over some of the high end offerings. I am planning a shopping trip and, maybe, a little blog post about them. Plus thanks for the tip off about Pizza Pilgrims. I may work it into my next London trip. H x

    1. The High Street have done so well on this trend, there really is no need to pay full whack...and Pizza Pilgirms is exceptional

  2. I'm really tempted by the slides! Just orders two pairs of Birkenstocks which usually don't work out for me because I have such narrow feet, ordered the slim version so I'm hopeful this time. Get well soon!

    1. I didn't know they did slim versions....fingers crossed!

  3. Bitchy resting face! Love it! Haha, yes, the whole 'Are you ok?' 'Im fine, this is my normal face' face?? I have that.
