The Frugality Wedding

So there's probably not very much I haven't already shared with you on my wedding, but just wanted to say how THRILLED I am to be included in this month's Red Magazine - they asked me to write a 3 page feature on my wedding: being tied down by a budget, having creative difficulties and ever being 'too cheap'. And I'm so pleased with how it turned out!
Order of Service: Project Pretty
The planters my dad made and planted especially
Painted second-hand chairs, H+M Home cushions

Me: Browns Bride dress, Sophia Webster shoes, Topshop garland. Chris: Uniqlo shirt, Paul Smith trousers, Office shoes.
Old ladder from gumtree. Jars saved by my nan and aunt. Photographs: Ed Peers. See the gallery of my styling tips on Red Online
The High Street has really excelled itself with wedding options now, trust H&M to come up with the dream Bridesmaid dress for only £34.99:

  1. Oh just simply stunning. You are so, so creative. Love everything. Off to buy the mag x

    1. Thank you! Not that creative, Pinterest helped a LOT!

  2. The loveliest wedding!

  3. Love all your little touches, I am off to a western wedding next month in a teepee, the guests are glamping too. So excited, they are a quirky couple (how I imagine you to be!) she a designer, he a sound recordist so I'm excited to see their design touches too.
The best weddings have lots of individuality, will definitely be buying Red this month! Xx

    1. I loved the teepees, everything I imagined and more! It is funny being a creative couple, as our weddings are often so different to our friends' (and our interiors so different, too!) but individuality is what makes weddings so special! Hope you have fun x
