Postcards from Ibiza

A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to be invited to Ibiza, amongst other journalists, to celebrate Accessorize's 30th birthday. I had never been before, so didn't know what to expect - but the trip was so well executed and I was in such good company - it surpassed all my expectations.

The Hotel: Pacha Destino

Accessorize dress, H+M sunglasses, M+S trilby and Zara bag
Neon embroidered dress, £37, Accessorize
To celebrate 30 years, they have done a fab collaboration with cool jeweller Zara Simon. All the jewellery is gold-plated and amazing quality - I'm a little obsessed. Watch this space for the launch date, all the jewellery would make perfect gifts.

All jewellery 'Z for Accessorize' - prices start from only £12

The cushions in Accessorize Ibiza store...I fell in love

Top: Oasis 'Art School' collaboration with Katie Whitton
Birkenstock 'Arizona', Asos
The girls boarding the boat to Formentera, including Monica from The Elgin Avenue blog on the right
On our way to Formentera (it was a bumpy ride)

Laura Fantacci from Wearing It Today wearing Isabel Marant swimsuit

Bonnie Rakhit, from The Style Traveller, doubled up as our guide - what she doesn't know about Ibiza isn't worth knowing!
Final evening outfit. Dress: Cos. Clutch: Accessorize. Sandals: Giuseppe Zanotti. Necklace: Z for Accessorize

You can see the video postcard, edited by Lucky No 13 on my new YouTube channel:

  1. What an amazing trip! I love the neon Accessorize dress and the new jewellery range looks lovely!
    Abbi x

  2. Looks amazing Alex and how lucky to go along, I adore Accessorize and may have bought my wedding headpiece from there, but that's a secret till Friday! I've been to Ibiza twice many moons ago but all three daughters are regular visitors, one has even been three years on the trot, so it's fair to say they love the place as much as me!

  3. You look amazing in these pics, especially the one of you sitting on the wall. I love Accessorize and it looks like their events are as good as their wares. I've been to Ibiza twice years ago, and loved it. Ibiza town has a culture and atmosphere all of its own.

  4. I'm beyond jealous. I feel like Ibiza's reputation has changed so much over the past few years. I was meant to go when I was 18 (7 years ago!) which I ended up missing, but I think I would appreciate it so much more now

  5. I thoroughly enjoyed following your trip via Instagram and am now feeling the boho vibe too. Also been stalking a few tops on the Free People site - there are some lovely tops on there!

  6. Great outfits and lots of style inspiration! I love the cushions - have been on the hunt for something similar for ages - do you know if they are available to buy in accessorize here? Thanks! X

    1. Hi Rhi, funnily enough - I was discussing this with the team there - they should so make this a bigger part of the brand! The oversized ones are gorgeous - you can get a few (smaller ones) from Debenhams ( but I think we should watch this space...

  7. Love the jewellery and yes, please say the cushions will be available here?!!

    1. There are a few from Debenhams (see above comment) but hopefully soon they will have more x

  8. I love that neon and white dress, it's gorgeous. Beautiful photos, what a lovely trip! x

  9. I love all of this and I have been following Free People, on Pinterest, for some time. I am chuffed that they are now in the UK. We just need Madewell to get over here too! H xx

  10. Love the new Accessorize pieces - look forward to the launch of those!
Looks like such a fun trip.x

  11. My friend showed me your blog and I lkie it for real! Finally, an issue that I am passionate about. I have looked for information of this caliber for the last several hours. Pure Testo Xplode Your site is greatly ppreciated. You ought to seriously think about working on growing this web site into a serious voice in this market. You obviously have a respectable knowledge of the areas all of us are searching for on this internet site anyways and you could potentially even earn a dollar or three from some advertising. I would explore following recent news and raising the volume of blog posts you make and I bet you'd start earning some great traffic in the near future. Just an idea, fine luck in whatever you do!I have been meaning to post about something like this on my site and this gave me an idea. Cheers.
