Red Magazine, December Issue

So, this month's Red magazine is out and it's a rather special edition: it's my first Christmas giftguide! For a Shopping Editor, and Laura at WITblog knows this, it's a mammoth task, scouring the High Street for the best gifts across the country.

In true frugal style, the giftguide this year is all UNDER £100...(and most a LOT cheaper than that!) - with the BEST cashmere, the coolest kids clothes and the hard to buy for men in your life.

I know it's out early and some people don't even want to think about Christmas yet, but if you start spreading the cost of Christmas now, it makes it easier in the long-run and doesn't mean you're broke on Christmas eve - I hope you enjoy!

This month's issue is also special for me as my shoot with the amazing Caroline Winberg in New York is featured. I have loved Caroline ever since working in magazines 10 years ago, and she didn't disappoint me. Fun, kind and really hard working, she made everything look flawless. And working with amazing photographer Chris Craymer, it's shoots like these that make me realise what I love about my job...see the whole shoot in this month's Red!

  1. Do I spy pineapple macaroons.... perfect for a citrus buzz.

    1. Pineapples and macaroons - match made in heaven!

  2. I enjoyed this, I really miss you and Laura in Red, it's just not the same anymore! x

    1. Aah thank you, Kate. I am still there until christmas - but I also think change is always good!

  3. In my family we still write Christmas lists, we then pass them around the rest of the family. There are always more items on the list than we will recieve so it's still a bit of a surprise. I always wait until the magazine gift guides come out before I write mine as I use them to chose what I would like for Christmas!!!! I'm off to Nerja for Christmas this year, i've never been in the winter and I'm panicking about clothes to take. A bikini and a wooly jumper? Have you been in the winter? Do you have any packing suggestions, I'd be exteremely grateful.
Thanks again for all you're wonderful advice.
    Tracy-Jane x
