Dungarees for grown-ups

T-Shirt: £10 in the sale, River Island. Dungarees: £66, Urban Outfitters. Mules: Office (buy the tan version in the sale here). Sunglasses: Asos (old)
"Do I look like Bugsy Malone?!' are often the kind of questions I ask my poor husband before asking him to take my photo...

He assured me not - but pinstripe dungarees take a little getting used to. I've only just gotten used to my black denim ones (and will be taking them into winter by wearing with my Gant cable knit) and now I'm extending the fabric to a sleeker, smarter wool pair. Dare I say office worthy...and they're super comfortable.

Anyway, this was the photo I submitted to Look Magazine on what I would wear to LFW (if I was attending) - it's chic, understated and a little simpler than previous LFW outfits but I feel very 'me'. As I will be working in the day, I will be doing a few evening activities - it's nice to dip in and out of the events and shows without being completely sucked in - often, a more objective eye on Fashion Week is just what you need...

I'm back from Lisbon now and uploading content as normal - stay tuned for tomorrow and my big High Street cashmere round-up!
