|Arctic face oil: £30, Skyn Iceland|
Cleansing oil: DHC (this is travel size but the 200ml bottle is available here)
Omega rich cleansing oil: £29.50, Elemis
Essential lavendin oil: £3.95, Muji
Using an oil cleanser on my face feels so much gentler on my skin and removes make-up really well - and cleansers like Elemis use over 90% natural ingredients. DHC is a cult brand I first heard about in Japan - simple ingredients that work (apparently, a bottle of this cleanser is sold every 10 seconds). It removes even stubborn mascara and skin doesn't feel as though you've scrubbed it within an inch of its life.
Skyn Iceland I've raved about before - it's designed for stressed out skin (hands up), and I put 3 drops of this on every evening before sleep and skin feels so much better and less exhausted.
And the oil trend doesn't seem to have stopped there, oh no. Who has the Muji oil diffuser? Game-changer - the lavendin essential oil is just the ticket to scent the room before a good night's sleep.
I've also been using it a lot in my hair: tons of bleach and straightening treatments will tend to frazzle one's ends. I'll rub a few drops of Aveda Dry Remedy in the ends before going to sleep, and Bumble and Bumble have launched their cult Surf Spray into an oil spray - conditioning as well as perfect beach hair? I'm giving it a go this summer.
