9 interiors and lifestyle websites you need to know

As my life diversifies, I am no longer a die-hard fashion only internet browser. Sure, Asos, H&M and Zara are regular tabs but I am enjoying interiors and small online boutiques more and more. That said, I am still always open to new ones, so thought I'd fill you in on a few recent sites that have caught my eye...

I must admit, I'm not a fan of any website you have to log into before you can enter (how can I know it's good before I see anything?) but this one is definitely worth persevering with. It's like a chicer Achica (alliteration not intended!), with a modern Scandi twist. They have daily sales, but then also product that stays continuously.

Set of 2 Nova chairs: £140, Monoqi

I never knew I needed copper hangers until some friends bought me these. £7, Hay at Monoqi

This has solved all newborn gift problems from now on in. Love these knitted letters, and have already ordered up a few for friends - and at £25 for personalised names they make a great gift.

Brought to my attention by a fellow South Londoner, this website was launched by an interior designer who knows her stuff, curated product from the UK and around the world. I love the hand poured candles in old whisky tumblers, they'd make great gifts.

Marble table: £319, House of Curiosities

If you don't own something from this fab site yet, where have you been? Pom pom edged blankets from Morroco, personalised wire letters from France...who am I kidding, I'm preaching to the converted.

Pom pom basket (hand-woven in Morocco), £32, Edit 58

Does anyone else follow Jo Rodgers' amazing Instagram feed? I can imagine her shopping on this site, full of antique trinkets as well as moody modern Art, a place where beauty products are referred to as 'tonics' and all curated by an Artist (and you can tell).

Leather edged scissors: £10, The Curious Egg
Green marble tray: £20, Curious Egg

Not only does this site stock gorgeous, covetable and affordable interiors, they also donate 10% of profits to go back into the Happy + Co farm in Cambodia, which sells chemical free fruit and vegetables to the local community.

Cushion: £45, Happy + Co

A one-stop shop for art, both affordable and fine. I love that you can shamelessly browse the under £500 section, with prints from Kristjana S Williams to upcoming artists and photography. It also has fun quirks like taking a quick test and they can recommend art based on your taste. You can also rent pieces before you commit!

Limited edition print: £115, Kristjana S Williams at Rise Art

Okay, so this IS a fashion one. I'd seen Iris featured on a few friends' instagram feeds but never been in store myself, so I took a trip to my nearest branch in Clapham and couldn't believe I hadn't been in before. The edit is amazing, all my kind of brands: Isabel Marent Etoile, Vanessa bruno Athe, Ulla Johnson and their own label is pretty fab, as well. It's on the more affordable side of boutique shopping and the edit is bohemian cool (think boho tops but with the coolest trainers). And it turns out, their website is just as good.

'Paris' sweater: £168, Souer at Iris Fashion
I'd love to hear of any new sites on your radar at the moment, my sister also loves Scandimini for her boy and has even bought some fab pieces for me from there - such as my gorgeous belly basket for my plant (see below, it's sold out but you can buy from Trouva here). Which online stores do you love?

    1. Thank you - love the Etsy finds, I always find it hard to find new people - those Moroccan rugs! xx

  4. I've been using Wayfair quite a bit of late. Will take a peak at the above though, whilst mid renovation I'm all for some new places to inspire me! X

    1. I used to use it when it was Joss & Main but the terrible adverts keep putting me off Wayfair...must move beyond marketing and try it again! xxx

  5. Hi Alex is a gorgeous online store that's about to open a shop in Manchester. I bought a great quality hammam towel in their sale that arrived very quickly (and no p+p!) with a handwritten card. Until the site relaunches there's more info here

    1. Ooh good to know -I'm actually working on doing a city guide in Manchester in a few months time so will definitely visit! x

    2. Oh, excellent, I love a bit of synchronicity (guide) ;-)

  6. Everyone has flaws, but it was in the past. I feel sad when people look back to the old state of me before, and at that time I speak somewhat childish. I honestly do not remember and do not have any impression about that at all.

  7. Wow. cool post. I’d like to write like this too – taking time and real hard work to make a great article… but I put things off too much and never seem to get started. Thanks though.
