Parisian Charm

Shoes: £35, Next
There have been a huge influx of French brands on the UK High Street lately, but none as relevant, beautiful, or even affordable as one of my favourites: Sezane

I've been shopping online for a while now (the brand is the first French solely online fashion brand) so thought we'd pay a visit to the 'Apartment' in Paris during Fashion Week - I'd heard good things. And it was as chic as I expected.

Blazer: Gap (old). 'Anita' t-shirt: £85, Bella Freud. Jeans: Mother Denim (old). Shoes: £35, Next.

Dreamy, right? Now here's the catch. You can't actually 'shop' inside this amazing store. Well, you can, there are a few items you can take away on the day - the stationery, apothecary and the entire section of miscellaneous 'bits and bobs' - at the moment it's curated section is dedicated to all things British, so they're host to a pop-up shop of Emma Bridgewater and House of Hackney to name a few.

But the Sezane bits? The Apartment serves as more of a chic de chic showroom, where customers can relax, browse, try on and have a feel for the fabrics before buying online, and there is also a collection point for deliveries. It's one of the first of its kind and this business model, with no intermediary, means the quality stays high but the prices lower than competitors.

I have to say, if I wasn't already a fan of Sezane, I would be now. The staff were so polite, the store so tastefully decorated and the clothes to die for. It's like walking around the most stylish French woman's apartment in Les Sentiers. Everyday classics but with a forever modern twist, Sezane is a brand to know and we'll definitely be seeing more of (if only on my Instagram feed - get ready for the pink coat of dreams to appear!). And on another note, did you SEE the Madewell x Sezane collab? I was on the mailing list for the stripe tees but they sold out before I even got to my screen...it's pretty much the stripe tee ideal.

4 things we love from Sezane right now...

The walkable heels
'Valentina' shoes: £115, Sezane (I have these in black and they are so comfortable)
The 'go with everything' coat
Coat: £255, Sezane
The sell-out satchel

Leather bag: £155, Sezane (this bag was always selling out when it was first introduced)
The ultimate silk 'boy' shirt

Silk shirt: £85, Sezane
And Paris....? More on that later.
Blazer: Gap (old). 'Anita' t-shirt: £85, Bella Freud. Jeans: Mother Denim (old). Bag: £120, The Cambridge Satchel Company. Shoes: £35, Next. Sunglasses: £19.99, Mango

  1. Thank you for the beautiful tour of the Sezane apartment! I was always wondering what it looks like. And it totally lives up to their products which are amazing. I am a big fan. Every single Sezane item I bought, immediately became a favourite. OMG, their Jack sneakers are the most comfortable and so stylish, and I just bought a scarf that has the most lovely rust colour and is so cozy and and and...Brigitte x

  6. They do such lovely understated items don't they? And the best bit when you order, is that it comes with a little tote bag and I do love a good tote bag! x
